Pawan Kalyan’s Vakeel Saab released last year was also a remake just like his upcoming film Bheemla Nayak. Vakeel Saab was a remake of the Hindi film Pink and many critics pointed out that the remake was quite well made keeping Telugu nativity in mind. The only drawback according to many was Vakeel Saab’s unnecessary flashback scene which derailed the film looked quite odd.
Now, as per reports, even Bheemla Nayak will have a flash-back sequence in the second half. This is again a deviation from Ayyappannum Koshiyum. The Malayalam version had no flashback despite being close to 3 hours in runtime.
Now Bheemla Nayak is just 2 and half hours in length which is a great thing. Trivikram and Pawan Kalyan have added many commercial elements and made the film racier by removing some songs and slow scenes. However, adding a flashback in the second half could be a counterproductive move and might backfire. We need to see whether it will helpful for the movie or not.
Bheemla Nayak will release on 25th February and the pre-release event will be held in Yousufguda Police Grounds tomorrow.
