It is very well known to everyone that Pawan Kalyan’s old classic blockbuster Tholi Prema is re-releasing on June 30th. As a part of the promotion, a press meet was organized where the entire unit of the film was present. The film was produced by GVG Raju on the SSC Arts banner. In an interview given to a private YouTube channel, producer GVG Raju told interesting fact that Pawan Kalyan didn’t take remuneration for Tholi Prema.
Directed by Karunakaran, the film had Pawan Kalyan and Keerthy Reddy in the lead roles. The film was released in 1998 and was a massive success. It was made as a heart – touching love story with perfect emotional depth, good songs and comedy scenes. Tholi Prema had impressed all kinds of audiences. The film won many awards and a National Award as well. On the occasion of 25 years of the film’s release, the film will be re-released on June 30.
A press meet was organized for Tholi Prema re-release in which renowned producer Dil Raju was also present. The film was produced by GVG Raju on the SSC Arts banner. In an interview given to a private YouTube channel, GVG Raju spoke about Pawan Kalyan’s remuneration. Everyone knows that Pawan Kalyan is currently charging about 50 crores for the film. He himself said it in the past. However, GVG Raju spoke about how much remuneration he had taken at the time of Tholi Prema.
GVG Raju said that Pawan Kalyan was not paid the remuneration before the release of the film. “When I asked Pawan how do you want to take? Should I give it all at once, or in installments? He said it was up to you. I said I’ll give you a little in advance first and after that I will give the remaining amount at once after the release of the film. Then he asked me to give him some amount for the monthly expenses until the film is over and I said yes. After two days of the release of the film, I took the entire remuneration and put it in the hands of Pawan Kalyan garu.” With this, the producer GVG Raju’s remarks about Pawan’s remuneration have now gone viral on the internet.
