Sivakarthikeyan has joined hands with director Sudha Kongara for Parasakthi, which is set to be released in theaters on Pongal/Sankranthi 2026, and the film’s digital rights have been acquired by Z5 for a record price of 52 Cr.
It is certainly one of the highest prices that Z5 offered for a film for digital rights, and Parasakthi benefited from the combination of Sivakarthikeyan and Sudha Kongara, and that is why it got such a big OTT deal.
Being made as a political-historical drama, the film is produced by Aakash Baskaran under Dawn Pictures, with music by G. V. Prakash Kumar and cinematography by Ravi K. Chandran.
The film stars a strong ensemble cast, including Jayam Ravi (Ravi Mohan), Atharvaa Murali, Sreeleela, and others.
