Mythri Movies is one of the biggest producers in Tollywood with a huge number of projects. Last year, they started distribution in Nizam with “Waltair Veerayya” and “Veera Simha Reddy.” After a successful entry, they faced some setbacks.
However, with “Salaar,” Mythri Movies is back on the path to success. The Nizam rights for “Salaar” were bought for 65 crore, including GST, and the movie collected 70 crore share, including GST. It’s the only breakeven territory for “Salaar” in the Telugu states.
Following “Salaar,” Mythri Movies distributed “Hanuman,” which faced many controversies but emerged as a sensational blockbuster. Mythri Movies bought “Hanuman” Nizam for 7.5 crore, including GST, and it collected more than 38 crore share, including GST. It’s one of the biggest grossers in Nizam.
After the success of these two films, Mythri Movies is releasing “Operation Valentine” in Nizam, scheduled for a March 1st release. Mythri Movies is now considered a lucky hand in the industry.
Varun Tej needs a huge blockbuster with Operation Valentine as he has been facing continuous flops, and he must deliver a big hit. Mythri’s luck needs to add to Varun Tej, and he must deliver a blockbuster with this film. Varun Tej aggressively promoted the film. The movie creates good buzz with trailer and Varun Tej promotions.
