NTR and Mega fan wars reach Hollywood

It is very well known to everyone that team RRR won multiple awards at the Hollywood Critics Association film awards last week. Pictures of Rajamouli, Keeravani, Ram Charan, Senthil Kumar and Karthikeya posing with the HCA Awards went viral on social media.

However, this didn’t go down well with a section of NTR fans, and their anguish reached Hollywood. They chased the HCA’s Twitter handle and blamed it for not appreciating the NTR. Just when events were going worse, the HCA has published clarification on NTR’s absence at the HCA Awards night.

And when a fan pointed out that NTR couldn’t attend the awards due to Tarakaratna’s passing, the HCA replied, saying, “He was originally shooting a movie which is why he couldn’t attend. His brother passing happened afterwards and is why he stepped away from the movie. This is what his publicist told us (in the original).” NTR will be given his HCA statuette upon his arrival in the US for the Oscar promotions.

It’s almost one year since RRR release and the fans are still battling with each other because of this film. The latest HCA awards had the fan war reach Hollywood, with NTR fans criticizing the HCA Awards team. Now, both fandoms are trending the hashtags NTR Goes Global and Global Star Ram Charan to show that their favorite hero received more name. God knows when this drama ends.

SS Rajamouli’s film RRR, marking Ram Charan and Jr NTR, turned up as one of the massive blockbusters in 2022. The global film community acknowledged the film after winning raving reviews from its audience and quickly becoming a worldwide sensation. The film’s song Naatu Naatu also bagged an award at The Golden Globe for Best Original Song.

This Action Epic starring Ram Charan and NTR has once again made the country glad as it has won multiple of the Hollywood Critics Association Awards. The film nailed awards for Best Action Film, Best Stunts, Best Song (Naatu Naatu), Spotlight Award, and Best International Film categories. This is an important achievement for the film before the Oscars in 2023, as Naatu Naatu is up for Best Original Song.
