It is often seen in politics that politicians give promises to win elections and forget about them later. The movie artists association of Tollywood also seeing similar situation. Manchu Vishnu became MAA president in a tough fight with Prakash Raj.

The major promise in his manifesto has been a building for MAA. However, there is no progress on the promise made. Maa association is still working from a rented building.

It’s been almost a year since the MAA election happened. Actor Vishnu had made tall claims that he would build a new office with his own money if he is elected for president.

Many actors also believed the promises made and voted him to power. Now, few senior actors are criticizing Vishnu on interviews in media regarding the delay in building an office.

Manchu Mohan Babu took personal interest to make his son win the elections, he personally called almost every artist and promised that he will make sure the manifesto gets implemented.

Manchu Mohan Babu is known for his straightforward nature, but these developments are not good for the family’s name.

It is also a legitimate criticism because Maa association Presidency is only for two years and if the building isn’t started, there might be another election with the same demand.

In an industry with so many superstars with crores of assets, not having a building is a matter of shame according to many netizens. The controversies surrounding the new building needs to be ended in the best interest of the association.
