Teja Sajja and Karthik Gattmaneni’s Mirai is shaking the box office in its first weekend. Manchu Manoj played the main villain’s role, and it also has Rana in a cameo, which appears at the end of the movie. But surprisingly, Rana’s entry failed to bring whistles in theaters.
Recently a new trend has started in Telugu films, where a film introduces a star in the end as a lead to the next part. These kinds of cameos normally work very well and get a big response in theaters.
Mirai: Rana’s Cameo fails to impress audiences
In Mirai also the team introduced Rana at the end and announced part two. However, either the scene did not connect to audiences or the actor somehow failed to bring that aura; as a result, shockingly, there were no whistles when Rana’s character is introduced in Mirai’s end.
The director could have presented the lead scene for the next part and Rana’s character much better. Even though Mirai is already heading towards a huge blockbuster, with a not-so-strong lead scene, a huge anticipation might not be created for the next parts.
