Baahubali 2 is still the king of national chains in Hindi. There is no need for a special introduction to the film, Baahubali 2 for Indian Cinema fans. Directed by SS Rajamouli and starring Prabhas, the film set a massive record for advance bookings for opening day with 650K sales at the north national chains. Films like KGF2, Jawan, Pathaan, and Animal also failed to come closer to the number and no other films have crossed 600K pre-sales for opening day in the north national chains till now.
Everyone expected that the most hyped sequel Pushpa 2 would definitely break this as there is a huge anticipation around the film. But after a strong initial start, Pushpa 2 somehow saw a dip in the bookings at the national chains, whereas it is trending very strongly in mass stations. On 3rd December, 10:30 am the advance sales of Pushpa 2 were 175K and it is expected to go in the range of 450K finally. So the chances of the film going to the KGF2 [510K+] range also look very tough at the northern national chains now. Baahubali 2 will hold the all-time record and we need to wait and see which film can break this record
