Nani’s The Paradise Faces Tough Box Office Competition

Nani’s biggest film The Paradise is set to face tough box office competition from multiple high-profile releases scheduled around its August 21, 2026 release date.

Made on a budget of over ₹200 Cr, The Paradise is the highest-budget project among Tier-2 stars. The film’s first single, Aaya Sher, has significantly raised expectations for this Nani and Srikanth Odela collaboration.

Release Date Competition Heats Up

Considering its massive scale and ₹200 Cr budget, The Paradise ideally needs a solo release window. However, the film now faces competition from several major releases in August 2026.

Dulquer’s I’m Game and Other Clashes

Dulquer Salmaan’s I’m Game, directed by Nahas Hidhyath (who debuted with RDX), releases on August 20 as a gangster action drama. The same day also sees Prithviraj Sukumaran’s Khalifa hitting theatres.

Adding to the competition, Suriya’s Vishwanath & Sons will release a week before The Paradise on August 14, potentially eating into the opening weekend collections.

With multiple big-budget films vying for screens and audience attention, The Paradise will need strong content and positive word-of-mouth to emerge successful at the box office.
