Nagarjuna Akkineni’s King100 marks his landmark 100th film in a leading role, making it one of the most prestigious projects of his career. Directed by Tamil filmmaker Ra Karthik, who is making his Telugu debut, the film is being produced on a lavish scale by Annapurna Studios.

The cast reunion has generated significant buzz. Tabu plays a prominent role, reuniting with Nagarjuna nearly three decades after their iconic pairing in Ninne Pelladata. Aishwarya Rajesh, Sushmita Bhat and Upendra round out the ensemble, while Devi Sri Prasad handles the music. The makers have kept the story and most technical details under wraps, adding to the curiosity despite a recent on-set footage leak.

Title Glimpse on Nagarjuna’s Birthday

The wait for King100 details is finally ending. The makers officially announced a special title glimpse on August 29, coinciding with Nagarjuna’s birthday. The glimpse is expected to reveal the film’s official title, Nagarjuna‘s look and the basic concept behind this milestone outing.

The team has deliberately maintained silence throughout the shoot, with not even an official first look released so far. The Nagarjuna-Tabu reunion, coupled with DSP returning to compose for Nag after successful collaborations in Manmadhudu, Mass and King, has already generated considerable anticipation for the King100 title glimpse.

Can King100 Extend the Akkineni Good Phase?

Expectations are particularly high because the Akkineni family has enjoyed an encouraging phase recently. Naga Chaitanya’s Thandel emerged as a commercial success, crossing ₹100 crore worldwide and becoming his highest-grossing film. Akhil Akkineni’s Lenin delivered a major career comeback, surpassing his previous box office records after a challenging phase.

Nagarjuna, meanwhile, was last seen in Lokesh Kanagaraj’s Coolie, playing the villain opposite Rajinikanth. King100 now carries the added responsibility of being his 100th film as a lead actor. With the birthday glimpse arriving in just a few days, all eyes are on whether Ra Karthik can present Nagarjuna with a memorable milestone film worthy of his legacy.
