A brief leaked video from Nagarjuna’s upcoming landmark 100th film, tentatively titled King 100, is creating a stir on social media. The footage shows Nagarjuna jumping into a fierce fight with a group of goons as he appears to come to the rescue of a woman arriving in a car.
Although the clip is only a few seconds long, it offers a glimpse of the film’s action-oriented side. The leaked footage has quickly caught the attention of fans across platforms. The makers have maintained considerable secrecy around the project so far, making even a tiny piece of footage a major talking point.
De-Ageing Technology and Action Sequences
Recent reports suggest King 100 is being planned as a blend of action, drama and family emotions. Nagarjuna is reportedly portraying his character across different age phases using de-ageing technology, adding a unique dimension to this milestone project.
Directed by Ra Karthik, who previously helmed Nitham Oru Vaanam, the film features an impressive ensemble cast around Nagarjuna. Tabu plays a prominent role, reuniting with Nagarjuna after their memorable pairing in Ninne Pelladata. Sushmitha Bhat has been confirmed as one of the female leads.
Star Cast and Father-Daughter Storyline
Aishwarya Rajesh is also part of the project, with reports suggesting that the story revolves around a father-daughter relationship. Nagarjuna himself is producing King 100 under Annapurna Studios, while Devi Sri Prasad is composing the music and background score.
The combination of Nagarjuna’s milestone status, Karthik’s direction and the film’s reportedly emotional family-centric storyline has made King 100 one of the more closely watched Telugu projects currently in production.
Release Plans and First Look Announcement
While the leaked fight footage has generated considerable excitement, the makers are yet to officially reveal the film’s title, first look or detailed plot. Earlier reports had suggested a Dasara 2026 release. More recent reports indicate that the team is considering a December 2026 or Sankranthi 2027 release to give the landmark project a bigger window.
A title and first-look announcement has reportedly been planned around Nagarjuna’s August 29 birthday. That too remains unconfirmed officially. With the team deliberately keeping the project under wraps, the leaked action sequence has offered fans their first tantalising glimpse of what could be a much more mass-oriented side of Nagarjuna’s 100th outing.
