Naga Chaitanya’s next project, his 25th film, is taking shape, with director Clax attached to helm it. Satvika Veeravalli, who makes her debut with Aakasam Lo Oka Tara is reportedly being finalized as the leading lady opposite him.
This marks a fresh creative pairing for Naga Chaitanya, who has spent the last couple of years moving between very different kinds of films, the mythical thriller NC24 with Virupaksha director Karthik Varma Dandu, and Thandel before that. Teaming up with Clax for his milestone 25th outing points to another shift in direction, with the actor continuing to back newer voices rather than settling into one genre.
For Satvika Veeravalli, this would be a significant moment. She’s currently building momentum as the lead in Aakasamlo Oka Tara opposite Dulquer Salmaan, and landing the female lead opposite Naga Chaitanya so soon after would put her in a genuinely strong position, back to back prominent roles across two different heroes’ projects.
The project is currently in the pre-production stage. An official announcement from the team is still awaited, and more details on the film’s genre, title, and cast should follow once that comes through.
