My average film did better than my career best film at box office: Nani

Nani Producers Are Worrying About His Present Market

With just a week to go before its release, Natural Star Nani is busy with back-to-back promotions of Dasara. He is continuously traveling across cities to promote his film and ensure it gets a good buzz and footfalls. Recently, in an interview, Nani spoke about how box office success is overrated and that he would any day choose a memorable film over a commercial hit.

“I felt very happy and satisfied about one of my films but it didn’t open well. On the other hand, there is one more film of mine which I felt was average but it did extremely well at the box office,” said Nani

“So success is not in our hands, anything that’s not in our hands is a fluke Only hard work is in our hands,” he added.

In this context, Nani is most probably referring to Jersey as the movie has received very positive reviews and is undoubtedly career best film but it did not perform extraordinarily at the box office. On other hand, MCA, and Nenu Local are very average films but emerged as big hits at the box office.

Meanwhile, Dasara is slated to release on 30th March and the songs released so far have received a great response. The action drama is set against the backdrop of Singareni coal mines near Ramagundam’s Godavarikhani, Telangana. It is directed by Srikanth Odela and stars Keerthy Suresh in the lead while Dheekshith Shetty, Samuthirakani, Zarina Wahab, Sai Kumar, and Rajsekhar Aningi play key roles.
