So far, director A.R. Murugadoss has mostly made commercial films with strong social messages. Now, he is planning to change his style for his next project by introducing a unique film with a monkey as the main character.
His recent movie Madharaasi, starring Sivakarthikeyan, did not perform well at the box office. After this, Murugadoss revealed that he is working on a new concept for his next film, in which a monkey will play the lead role. The film is planned as a graphics-heavy project.
He also shared that this idea was actually meant to be his debut film. The concept goes back to his early days as an assistant director. According to the filmmaker, the movie will mainly target children and aims to provide an entertaining experience for young audiences.
