AR Murugadoss has seen continuous setbacks from the past few years, as all of his films received big criticism. However, for Madharaasi, starring Sivakarthikeyan, after a long time there are appreciations coming from Tamil audiences and critics.
Even the other directors, like Shankar, Linguswamy, and many industry people, praised the film, which gave a big relief for the Ghajini director.
The director said that he had shaved his head at the Palani Murugan temple for Madharaasi. Also, he previously did the same for his first film, Dheena. He said that this was also like the first film for him, as he was very panicked because 2 films continuously did not materialize and created a gap.
