Cibi Chakravarthy scored a 100 crore grosser with his debut film Don, starring Sivakarthikeyan. The film played a key role in taking Sivakarthikeyan’s market to the next level and helped establish him as a big-range hero. Now, he is all set to direct Thalaivar 173.
After the success of Don, Cibi Chakravarthy narrated a story to Superstar Rajinikanth during the Vettaiyan period. The project reached the final discussion stage but did not materialize.
He later narrated a story idea to Sivakarthikeyan, but due to the actor’s packed commitments, Cibi moved on and narrated a script to Nani. A significant amount of time was spent on the project, but it again failed to take off because of Nani’s prior commitments.
