‘Mass Maharaja’ Ravi Teja’s first collaboration with People Media Factory happened with Dhamaka (2022). The film was a commercial success and fetched good profits for the makers. However, their next venture, Eagle (2024), was a box-office bomb.
Headed by T. G. Vishwa Prasad, this production company’s recent project, Mr. Bachchan, featuring Ravi Teja again, was a colossal disaster that couldn’t recover even 25% of the buyer’s money. Needless to say, the distributors and ultimately the producer have faced heavy losses.
To compensate for the same, director Harish Shankar has reportedly agreed to give back a fraction of his remuneration. On the other hand, Ravi Teja is known to have agreed to do another film with People Media Factory, charging a minimal salary. This is a really good move by the actor and director.
