The Year, 2024 was a bitterful one for Mollywood Actor Mohanlal. His high-budgeted film, Malaikottai Vaaliban flopped, and his directorial debut film, Barroz 3D saw a disastrous result on its release. But the Actor has prepared himself to make a big comeback with his upcoming films in 2025.
His latest film, L2: Empuraan the sequel of the blockbuster Luficer. The film is scheduled for release at the end of March. The Teaser of L2: Empuraan has already been released on YouTube drawing a phenomenal response and the expectations are sky-high now. The film is all also set to create a new benchmark for the Malayalam Cinema.
Apart from L2: Empuraan, he has Thudaram co-starring Shobana planned as a May release and Vrushaba, a Multi-starrer project alongside Mammootty. He also did a role as a cameo appearance in Tollywood’s big-budgeted Kannappa starring Manchu Vishnu in the lead role. Kannappa is slated for release on April 25th this year.

Mohanlal surprised everyone today with his new announcement. The film is set to be directed by Anoop Menon who also met the Actor sometime ago. The same has been confirmed by the Actor on his Official Facebook Account.
He posted, “Delighted to announce my next film, a dramatic journey traversing love, longing and music to be shot extensively in Thiruvananthapuram, Kolkata and Shillong. Written and Directed by Anoop Menon and featuring a stellar team BTS, produced by Timeless Movies, this subject is so close to my heart. I sincerely welcome all of you to be part of our epic journey.
