Mazaka starring Sundeep Kishan is gearing up for release on 26th February this month. It is creating a good buzz with the Teaser, songs, and promotional activities. Directed by Trinadha Rao Nakkina and written by Prasanna Kumar, the film is produced by Hasya Movies and AK Entertainments. Ritu Varma plays the female lead role alongside Rao Ramesh and Anshu playing pivotal roles.
Mazaka Censor formalities have also been completed. The film is censored with a U/A certificate (13+) and has a runtime of 149 minutes and 30 seconds i.e., 2 hours, 29 minutes and 30 seconds. The Pre-business was also done for a good amount. Coast AP’s 6 territories were sold at 4.5 crore – 5 crore ratio, Nizam at 3.5 crores and Ceded at around 2 crores. The Total Telugu States Business was done for around 10 crores. Worldwide business is also valued at 12 crores.
The film needs to collect around 25 crores gross worldwide to emerge as a box office hit. It also had a good non-theatrical deal with Zee Studios being one of the Producers of the film. They also paid a big amount for the total non-theatrical rights including both digital and satellite. The promotional activity of the film has also worked well. The folk song from the film, Sommasilli Pothunnave received a good response. The film is also carrying good reports in the Industry and entertainment is said to have worked well as per the buzz.
Mazaka, as said, will release on 26th February with the holiday advantage of Shiva Rathri. If the film manages to get a positive word of mouth then by the weekend itself, there will be possibilities for it to emerge as a box office success. The Trailer of the film is also expected to release tomorrow.
