Mass Jathara’s OTT Negotiations

OTT viewers criticized Raviteja for selecting the regular template films, and he is also criticized for his slang and acting in love scenes. People who watched Mass Jathara on OTT are saying that Raviteja is purely wasting his potential and, at the same time, not doing age-appropriate roles. Mass Jathara gets more criticism on OTT

After a disappointing result at the box office, Ravi Teja’s Mass Jathara, directed by Bhanu Bhogavarapu and produced by Naga Vamsi, is facing tough time with the OTT negotiations as well, according to the latest reports.

OTT platforms are increasingly imposing conditions on movie streaming rights. Producers have stated that these platforms base their payments on a film’s performance, deducting a percentage of the final deal amount if the movie underperforms.

According to the latest buzz, the same is happening for Ravi Teja’s Mass Jathara, and the producers are having some negotiations with Netflix, the OTT giant which bagged the digital rights of the film.

Reportedly, the platform is attempting to reduce the agreed-upon percentage, which the filmmakers oppose, requesting early streaming instead. However, the OTT platform is not interested in early streaming and wants to lower the price due to the film’s poor box office performance.

The producers, already struggling financially due to “Mass Jathara’s” failure, are refusing to accept any cuts to their agreed-upon deal. It will be interesting to see how this situation unfolds.
