Manju Warrier grabs a crucial role in the blockbuster sequel

Renowned Malayalam actress Manju Warrier has a good image as a versatile performer, and she has good recognition across the South Indian Cinema. According to the latest reports, Manju Warrier has grabbed a crucial role in the blockbuster Sequel Viduthalai 2.

Vetrimaaran’s Viduthalai 1 released earlier this year and was received with critical acclaim as well as a big success at the box office. The ace director has recently begun shooting the remaining portions of the sequel in the Sirumalai forest in Dindigul district. It is well known that Soori was the main protagonist in the first part, playing the role of an honest police constable who helps his department to catch the social activist Vaathiyaar (Vijay Sethupathi) who is accused of being a terrorist by the police and the government.

‘Viduthalai 2’ will show the life and rise of Vaathiyaar and hence it will have Vijay Sethupathi having importance throughout the film compared to the extended screen space in the first part. Now it has been reported that Vijay Sethupathi will have a heroine role in the story, and Vetrimaaran has selected Mollywood Lady Superstar Manju Warrier for the role.

Manju has already collaborated with Vetrimaaran in ‘Asuran’, playing Dhanush’s wife, which was her Tamil debut as well. After that she appeared in ‘Thunivu’ in which she shared screen space with Ajith and is currently playing the main villain role in ‘Mr. X’ that has Gautham Karthik and Arya in the lead roles.

Manju Warrier’s involvement in ‘Viduthalai 2’ will be officially announced once the agreement has been finalized. The film has music by Ilayaraja and is produced by Elred Kumar with Vijay Sethupathi, Soori, Bhavani Sre, Gautham Menon, Rajiv Menon, Balaji Shakthivel,Thamizh, Prakash Raj and Surya Vijay Sethupathi playing the major roles.
