Recently with Chekka Chivantha Vanam, Ponniyin Selvan Series, and now Thug Life he shifted the genre and is said to be coming to his favourite genre for next. The fans are happy to hear this news as Mani Ratnam returns to Romance.
Now, the news in Tamil circles is that Mani Ratnam’s next film will be with new faces and youngsters. Reportedly Mani is working on Thug Life’s post-production works along with this film’s casting in parallel.
Thug Life has been announced for 5th June release, The new film is likely to go on sets in the 2nd half of this year. Mani Ratnam is also in talks with Rajinikanth for a film, and this is likely to go on sets next year.
