A case has been registered against Manchu Vishnu, the President of the Movie Artists Association (MAA), in connection with a kidnap case linked to Manchu Mohan Babu University. While Vishnu was named A2, and Mohan Babu was named A3 in the case.
According to reports, the Chandragiri police have issued notices to actor and MAA President Manchu Vishnu, directing him to appear for questioning in connection with the kidnapping allegations. The police reportedly served two notices as part of the investigation.
The kidnap case involving Mohan Babu and Vishnu has now gone viral. The issue began when leaders of certain student organizations protested against the alleged collection of excessive fees at Manchu Mohan Babu University in Tirupati. The protest led to a tense situation on the university campus.
Mohan Babu and Manchu Vishnu Get Involved in a New Controversy
Student Federation of India (SFI) leaders were reportedly preparing to lay siege to the Collectorate, accusing the university management of charging exorbitant fees. Amid the escalating protest, two bouncers allegedly associated with Mohan Babu forcibly picked up two student leaders and took them away in a car.
The student leaders, identified as Akbar and Vinod, later filed a complaint stating that they were assaulted by the bouncers and kidnapped. Acting swiftly, the police chased the vehicle and registered cases against several individuals involved in the incident.
On the 3rd of this month, Chandragiri police officially registered a kidnapping case against 13 people, including Mohan Babu (A3), Manchu Vishnu (A2), and PRO Satish. The investigation is currently underway.
