Their upcoming collaboration, Mana Shankara Vara Prasad Garu, is set for Sankranthi 2026 release, with Venkatesh playing an extended cameo role. The film is already carrying huge buzz, thanks to its promotional content and songs, which have worked strongly with audiences.
The film’s digital and satellite rights have been acquired by Zee Group for around ₹50 crore. Considering the current OTT market, where deals are generally lower than before, this is a very good deal, especially since the film is primarily a regional release.
Big pan-India films usually fetch higher OTT prices due to multiple language versions, but in this scenario, Chiranjeevi and Anil Ravipudi’s Mana Shankara Vara Prasad Garu has managed to secure impressive numbers. Its box office performance will also add extra value to the OTT rights.
Currently, most OTT platforms follow a similar model: they pay a base price upfront and then add extra amounts depending on the film’s box office performance. This ensures that films with strong theatrical runs benefit further in the digital space.
