Mana Shankara Varaprasad Garu – MSG, starring Megastar Chiranjeevi, is set to release in cinemas on January 12, 2026, a blockbuster release date, as it is followed by major festival holidays.
The release date was officially announced at a grand press meet held in Hyderabad. The film is directed by Anil Ravipudi, with Nayanthara playing the female lead. Venkatesh will be seen in an extended cameo.

Speaking about the film, director Anil Ravipudi said that Mana Shankara Varaprasad Garu will be as entertaining as Sankranthiki Vasthunam. He added that the film fully utilizes Chiranjeevi garu’s comic timing and presents him in a refreshed and updated avatar. Venkatesh will appear for around 20 minutes, and the director expressed excitement about audiences watching the Chiranjeevi–Venkatesh combination scenes on screen.
