Chiranjeevi and Anil Ravipudi’s Mana Shankara Vara Prasad Garu is all set to be released in theaters worldwide on 12th January, and it adopts the strategy of Balakrishna’s Akhanda 2, i.e., to screen paid premieres before the release day.
Nowadays, all tier-1 biggies are going with paid premieres with big ticket prices from 800 to 1000. Balakrishna’s Akhanda 2 is the 1st senior hero film to adopt premieres, and Chiranjeevi’s Mana Shankara Vara Prasad Garu will also adopt the same strategy now.
The makers of the Akhanda sequel did not go with 800, and they opted for 600. Now, Mana Shanakara Vara Prasad Garu’s team is also following the same strategy of screening premieres on January 11th with a 500-ticket price.
For Akhanda 2, the response for premiere tickets was not that big, and it needs to be seen how Chiranjeevi’s film fares. Prabhas’ The Raja Saab is also being released with a ticket price of 800 rupees for premieres on January 8th, like other tier 1 biggies.
