Suriya’s next two films are Karuppu, which is finished under the direction of RJ Balaji, and his 46th film with director Venky Atluri, which is scheduled for release in 2026. According to the reports, Tamil actor Suriya has signed a film with Malayalam director Jithu Madhavan, and the Singham actor himself will produce this film. Interestingly, the actor will be playing a police officer role in the film, and the shoot will start at the end of this year.
For this film, Jithu Madhavan is said to be getting a double-digit remuneration, and it is the highest remuneration ever for a Malayalam director. The director recently scored a big hit with Aavesham (2024), starring Fahadh Faasil.
