Makers deny rumours about Keerthy Suresh’s upcoming film

Keerthy Suresh’s Good Luck Sakhi was scheduled for a release on 3rd June. However, with the pandemic causing the closure of theatres, the makers are deliberating their next move. Good Luck Sakhi now joins a company of a bunch of Tollywood films to have their release postponed.

However, with the second wave of Covid enforcing lockdown all over, a rumour started doing rounds recently. According to the rumour, this Keerthi Suresh starter will be now going for an OTT release. The makers of the movie, however, have now released a statement that their film will release in theatres first.

The film’s post-release digital streaming rights were acquired by Amazon Prime Video and Star Maa holds the satellite rights.

Nagesh Kukunoor has written and directed this film, and it marks the Tollywood debut the critically acclaimed director. Jagapathi Babu and Aadhi Pinnisetty are playing other pivotal roles, while Devi Sri Prasad will be composing music for this sports romantic comedy.
