Makers Confirm: The Raja Saab Release Not Postponed

If we observe the 2-day collections of The Raja Saab, the Telugu states' performance is decent, but the rest of India and overseas numbers saw a big drop. With theatrical rights being valued at 165 Cr, the film needs to hold strongly until the festival weekend.

The Raja Saab, starring Prabhas and directed by Maruthi, has faced several delays but is now in the final stages of shooting. Recently, rumors began circulating about a possible postponement, but the makers have strongly denied them.

Since the film involves heavy VFX work, buzz in distribution circles suggested that it might miss its Sankranthi release. If that happens, films starring Ravi Teja and Sharwanand are reportedly ready to take the festival slot.

Too Many Rumors around The Raja Saab – Makers to start continuous promotions soon

There was also talk that if The Raja Saab gets delayed, Akhanda 2 might release during Sankranthi instead of its current December 5th date, as the festival season is considered more favorable.

However, sources close to the production team have confirmed that there is no truth to the postponement rumors of Raja Saab. The film is 100% set to release during Sankranthi.

The first single from the film will be released soon, and the team plans to begin full-scale promotions afterward.

Fans are eagerly waiting, and they won’t accept another delay from the team. All eyes are now on the makers to stick to the promised release date.
