Mahesh Babu Receives Five Crores for Five Seconds of Voice

When it comes to brand endorsements, few stars in Tollywood or even other southern industries come close to Mahesh Babu. After being the face of some of the biggest brands in India, Mahesh has come on board for Phone Pe, one of the biggest UPI apps.

The Superstar has been roped in as the voice for Phone Pe UPI and has lent a short 5-second voiceover for the brand. Mahesh has reportedly received a remuneration of a whopping Rs 5 crores for this short voice over which will be combined with AI-generated voice as well.

Mahesh Babu’s voice will now be heard by PhonePe users during transactions on smart speakers, taking the place of the typical computer-generated speech. Users will hear Mahesh Babu’s cheery “Thank you, Boss” after making a payment, which adds a personal touch to their transaction experience. To reassure clients that their payments have been handled successfully, this celebrity voice validation option has been included.

Meanwhile, on the movie’s front, the Superstar is immersed in his next project, directed by SS Rajamouli. Speculated to be made on a staggering budget of Rs 1000 crore, the action-adventure film promises to give a never before experience to the Indian audience.
