The trailer of Ashok Galla’s debut film HERO is out now. In a trailer spanning nearly 2 minutes, it revolves around the life of our Hero, played by Ashok Galla. He wants to enter the film industry, and for that, he needs a director. What will he do in his search to find a director? Will he succeed? This forms the rest of the story.
We’ve previously seen a film about the struggles of entering the film industry in Ravi Teja’s Neninthe. This is an extremely interesting concept that has not been explored enough. Ravi Teja was a director, here Ashok Galla is an actor, or rather, a HERO.
From the trailer, it is quite clear that this movie has a lot of commercial elements. There is fighting, kissing, warnings, and a pinch of acting. The chemistry between Ashok and heroine Niddhi Agerwal looks promising. The duo also shares liplock with each other.
The movie needs to be credited for its production values. The film is shot on a large scale with no compromises on the budget. There is a grand sequence in a desert, exquisite sets for dance numbers, and much more. The film is also being produced by Ashok Galla’s mother itself, Padmavati Galla.
There are a few concerns regarding the template of the film. It seems to be following the age-old commercial template that has expired now. Ashok Galla looks stiff in his dialogue delivery, but this is excusable as it is his debut.
The film also stars a stellar ensemble cast of Jagapathi Babu, Vennela Kishore, Brahmaji, and Naresh among others. Sriram Aditya, who has previously directed Devadas is the director of the film. Ghibran is the music director.
