Mahesh himself revealed that he stopped attending the Pooja ceremonies of his films due to the sentiment, and he continued that until now. However, he finally broke that sentiment with Rajamouli’s film, as he attended the Pooja Ceremony today. The film is expected to start shooting this month, and it is targeting a 2027 release and a simultaneous international release as well.
Bollywood Actress Priyanka Chopra and Malayalam Actor Prithviraj Sukumaran are set to play crucial roles in the film. SSMB29 will be in the shoot period for at least two years and meet audiences only in 2027 at the earliest. The film will also be made on a large scale, for which Rajamouli has been setting things up for a long time.
