MAD Square, the sequel of MAD, became a sensational blockbuster recently. The film witnessed big opening and a huge weekend performance. It also put good profits on 1st weekend itself. However, the performance was not consistent in the 2nd weekend.
The film was initially expected to touch the 100 crore mark worldwide. But it got settled only around 70 crores gross which is also considered a blockbuster result. The film’s digital rights are with Netflix, and the film will also be streamed from 25th April in all the prominent languages.
Few audience opined that the sequel was not better than the prequel, interestingly. The makers are quite happy with the performance of the film and may even plan a third part in the series soon.
