Lokesh Kanagaraj’s debut production Fight Club turned out to be a box office disaster

Ace director Lokesh Kanagaraj recently turned producer with his production company G Squad producing the Tamil action thriller Fight Club. The film stars Vijay Kumar, Kaarthekeyan Santhanam, Shankar Thas, Avinash Raghudevan, and Monisha Mohan Menon in the leading roles, was directed by Abbas A Rahmath.

The movie was released on last weekend and deals with the lives of college students and their dreams with a Ganja theme. The film did not work at the box office and is headed towards being a big disaster. Lokesh Kanagaraj’s brand also fails to bring the audience to theatres.

The film received widespread criticism from the audience as well as the critics. Audiences panned the film for its screenplay and many stated that Fight Club focused more on the technical aspects and the makers didn’t pay any heed to having a tight screenplay and an engaging story.

Fight Club was directed by Abbas A. Rahmath while the film’s soundtrack for was composed by Govind Vasantha. Leon Britto handled the film’s cinematography while Kripakaran P handled the editing duties.
