Lokah is having another rampage weekend (4th weekend) at the box office, and it becomes Mollywood’s industry hit and races towards the 300 Cr club. Because of such huge success, the film’s OTT release has been delayed.
Normally, South Indian movies will stream on OTT after 4 weeks of theatrical release. Hridayapooravam, starring Mohanlal, was released alongside Lokah: Chapter 1 Chandra, which arrives on Hotstar on 26th September in all languages.
So, audiences expected that Lokah would also release during the same period, but the film’s production house, Wayfarer Films, has informed Kerala theaters that Lokah won’t come on OTT this month. It will cover Pooja holidays and further, and then only it will be released in OTT.
So, it is likely to release on OTT in mid-October and will have a good run till that period. The female superhero film is set for Mollywood’s 1st 300 Cr.
