The Lip lock scenes have become a trending promotional concept for movies. Of course, one cannot say that it is a deliberate attempt from the filmmakers, rather it can be said as adapting to a more fearless approach in filmmaking. Natural Star Nani’s upcoming film, Hi Nanna’s teaser, has led to the disco on Lip lock scenes becoming a trending promotional concept for movies.
Before a few years back it was common for Bollywood movies to showcase the Lip lock and romantic scenes in the promotional content but in recent times it is becoming normal even for Tollywood films as now most of the films’ promotional content consisting of Lip lock scenes becoming very normal, especially in medium and small budget films. Recently, Suma Kanakala’s son’s debut film, Bubblegum teaser had a Lip lock scene and Nani’s Hi Nanna teaser which was released today had the same between Nani and Mrunal Thakur.
At the teaser launch event for Nani’s most recent movie, Hi Nanna, a journalist asked the actor an uncomfortable question regarding the kissing scenes in his movies. The reporter wondered if the kissing scenes in Nani’s movies were mandated by the script, or if the actor himself requested the director to include them. Nani responded calmly and graciously to the question by saying that there are no kissing scenes in all of his movies.
After the reporter mentioned that lip-lock scenes were present in all of his films, the Jersey actor responded accordingly. Nani stated that Ante Sundaraniki and Dasara, among others, do not contain any kissing scenes. The actor stated that if the script demands a kissing scene, he will have to do it, and he also mentioned that as an actor, he must adhere to the director’s vision. He added that it is not a personal decision for him.
