Post the disaster of Liger at the box office, many distributors and exhibitors faced a lot of losses. Warangal Srinu, who bought the entire South Indian rights of Liger for a whopping 90+ crores is under tremendous losses due to the film.
It would be fair to assume that he is upset with Liger and the team. A loss of 50+ crores is a big deal for anyone, let alone a distributor. But, this is not the case with Warangal Srinu. In fact, he has made some shocking comments recently about Liger.
Warangal Srinu has stated that Liger is a good film except for the climax. A lot of portions in Liger were excellent, he added. Except for the climax of the film, the other portions were engaging.
He went on to add that it is the audience’s fault for the failure of Liger. “Most of the people are just spreading negative reviews of the film without watching it.” These statements have come as a shock to the audiences.
People who felt bad for Warangal Srinu are now turning against him. When the majority of the public is saying that Liger is a bad film, there was no need for unnecessary damage control.
