After two months after its worldwide theatrical release, Aamir Khan’s Laal Singh Chaddha has released on OTT giant – Netflix. Featuring Kareena Kapoor Khan, Naga Chaitanya, and Mona Singh in lead roles the film tanked at the Box Office and failed to meet the expectations of the audience.
Netflix India made took to Twitter and announced, “Keep your popcorn golgappas ready because Laal Singh Chaddha is NOW STREAMING!”
Laal Singh Chaddha began streaming on Netflix on October 5, 2022, in Hindi along with Telugu and Tamil languages. The film did not get positive response from the audience as well as critics. Public didn’t liked that an actor like Amir Khan doing a remake and they unanimously rejected it.
Laal Singh Chaddha, the official Hindi remake of Academy Award-winning Forrest Gump starring Tom Hanks which has an image of classic movie. But Aamir Khan’s version could not win the accolades, except amir fans who initially tried to get the movie good talk. The film also was affected by the boycott trend online. The film stars Aamir Khan, Kareena Kapoor Khan, Mona Singh and Naga Chaitanya in pivotal roles. Advait Chandan has helmed it with a screenplay by Atul Kulkarni.
Bollywood is having a very dull phase with movies of star heroes becoming flops. Laal Singh Chaddha, Raksha Bandhan and the latest Vikram Vedha have failed to bring the audience to the theaters. Brahmastra, which was made as Pan Indian movie and publicised heavily ended as a decent hit after opening to a huge first weekend.
