The film’s business was done for 30 crores. To achieve the breakeven mark, it has to collect $9 Million there. This was perceived as risky by many since Mollywood’s biggest film, 2018 collected only around $8 Million there. But, L2: Empuraan shocked all by taking the overseas market by storm. For the opening weekend of 4 days, the film has collected $12 Million meaning that the film has joined 100 crore club. L2: Empuraan has also become the first ever 100 crore overseas grosser for Mollywood and also the biggest overseas grosser Indian film this year. This is indeed a remarkable feat by the film. The film is now eyeing the 150 crore club in the overseas region.
