L2: Empuraan starring Mohanlal is rocking the box office. The film has achieved the 250 crores milestone mark in Mollywood becoming the first one to achieve this feat in Mollywood.
For 10 days, the film has collected 247 crores gross worldwide. On its 11th day, it has officially joined the club. However, one thing that looks bothersome is how the film was unable to make a big jump in its 2nd weekend. With this, it seems very difficult for the film to reach the 300 crore club milestone.
L2: Empuraan, though had a big hype and expectations didn’t get much needed support from other language audience which impacted the collections. Also, the film received only a mixed word of mouth. But, these didn’t hamper its prospects in the 1st week and the film recorded thunderous collections at the box office. The mixed word of mouth, obviously affected its run in the 2nd weekend. Anyways, L2: Empuraan has become a box office success and is the Industry Hit for Mollywood.
