In his latest interview, the renowned producer and distributor Asian Suniel officially revealed that Kuberaa’s digital rights were bought by Prime Video for a price of 47 Cr. This is a very good deal for the makers.
Because the film’s budget is 120 Cr and the makers have recovered 40% of the budget from the digital business. That is why Sekhar Kammua’s Kuberaa’s OTT price is a jackpot deal for them.
OTT Platforms decide the theatrical release dates: Asian Suniel – Kuberaa’s Producer
The producer confirms it has a 28-day theatrical window like other movies, and the producer also said that these days, the OTT platforms control the release dates. The producer wanted to release the film in July.
Because there are still works in progress for the movie on a very tight line, they wanted to take time to release it. But because of the OTT commitment, they have been forced to arrive on 20th June.
