Krithi Shetty’s new Tamil big budget film launched officially

After recently appearing in Naga Chaitanya’s Custody, actress Krithi Shetty bagged a new Tamil big budget film titled Genie, which was launched officially this morning. Jayam Ravi plays the lead role in the film. Apart from this film, Krithi Shetty also stars in the Malayalam industry’s prestigious project Ajayante Random Moshanam starring Tovino Thomas in the lead role.

Genie was launched in Chennai with the cast and crew members being present at the event. Krithi Shetty, Wamiqa Gabbi, Kalyani Priyadarshan, and Devayani are other actors part of the star cast. AR Rahman, who composed music for PS 1 and 2, will be joining hands with Jayam Ravi again for this project.

The film marks the 25th venture of Vels International, and according to the official press release, the production is planning to make it on a massive scale. Yanick Ben, a popular stunt choreographer who has worked in several Hollywood and International films, is roped in to handle the action sequences. Mahesh Muthusamy will be handling the cinematography and editing by Pradeep E Raghav.

Ponniyin Selvan of Mani Ratnam has helped the career of actor Jayam Ravi, who appeared in the title role in historical fiction film. The actor today launched a big budget project titled Genie, produced by Vels International, which recently directed the Vendhu Thanindhathu Kaadu of T R Silambarasan. The film will be the biggest project in Jayam Ravi’s career after Ponniyin Selvan. Arjunan Jr, who worked as an assistant director of Mysskin, will be making his debut with the project.
