A major multistarrer featuring Venkatesh Daggubati and Nandamuri Kalyan Ram, directed by Anil Ravipudi, is all set to go on floors soon. The latest update is that Krithi Shetty has been officially confirmed as Kalyan Ram‘s leading lady in the film. Anil Ravipudi himself confirmed the news, putting an end to all speculation.
Reuniting After a Decade
Anil Ravipudi made his directorial debut with Pataas, starring Kalyan Ram in the lead role. After that successful collaboration, the duo did not work together again until now. Meanwhile, Anil and Venkatesh have delivered three successful films together—F2: Fun and Frustration, F3: Fun and Frustration, and Sankranthiki Vasthunnam—rewriting box office records.
Now, Venkatesh and Anil Ravipudi are once again joining hands for another big entertainer. This time, it is a multistarrer, with Kalyan Ram playing the other lead role, and Krithi Shetty will be paired opposite him in the film. The project is slated for Sankranthi 2027 release.
Confirmed at Love Insurance Kompany Event
The confirmation came during the promotional event of the new-age romantic film Love Insurance Kompany, starring Pradeep Ranganathan and Krithi Shetty, which is set for its Telugu release on April 10. Speaking on stage at the event, Anil Ravipudi said to Krithi, “See you on the sets soon.” With that statement, it became clear to everyone which project he was referring to.
Meanwhile, reports strongly suggest that Keerthy Suresh is almost finalized as Venkatesh‘s pair in the film, adding even more excitement to this highly anticipated project. The multistarrer marks a significant reunion for Anil Ravipudi and Kalyan Ram after more than a decade, while continuing the successful Venkatesh-Anil collaboration that has consistently delivered commercial hits.
