Srikanth Puppala Helms the Mythological Saga
Newcomer Srikanth Puppala will direct Indraputra. Puppala served as the first assistant director on Rishab Shetty’s Kantara Chapter 1, bringing valuable experience from one of Indian cinema’s most acclaimed recent mythological films.
His association with the Kantara team adds credibility to this ambitious venture, especially given the technical and narrative demands of the mythological genre.
Shooting is scheduled to begin in October 2026, with the film co-produced by Keerthan alongside Zee Studios and Prerna Arora.
