KGF star Yash rejected Ravana’s role in Ramayan

Adipurush, starring Prabhas and Kriti Sanon, is all set to hit theaters on June 16. The movie is based on the epic story of Ramayan, and all eyes are on the movie and it’s box office performance. But there is also another major development that has taken place recently regarding the Lord Ram and Sita’s Story.

According to the reports, the director of Dangal, Nitesh Tiwari, intended to make a film on the Ramayan with the same name. It is also said that currently, pre-production works for the same are underway. Reportedly, Star couple of Bollywood Alia Bhatt and Ranbir Kapoor were chosen for the roles of Sita Maa and Lord Ram, respectively. South Indian popular actor and the KGF star Yash was offered the role of Ravana’s role. The latest reports strongly suggest that Yash has rejected this massive offer.

Actually, Yash was very thrilled about joining this humongous project and was excited for playing Ravana’s character. Also, with Ranbir Kapoor appearing as Rama, Yash was even more eager to accept the role, but it is being reported that the KGF star has rejected the offer.

The decision was taken after considering the fans’ feelings and reactions, as per the reports. Because the close circle of Yash felt his fans would not be happy watching him play a negative role, even if it was that of an antagonist as powerful as Ravana. It is very well known that, unlike Bollywood, the heroes and especially star heroes give a lot of importance to the feelings of fans.

So if they have any sort of small doubt that their fans will be not happy with their choice of characters or movies, they will definitely reject such offers and maintain a cordial relationship with the fans.
