Suriya’s Karuppu completed its shoot some time ago, but the film faced delays due to problems with non-theatrical deals, and the latest update about the film is out now. Those issues are now said to be resolved, with Netflix acquiring the OTT rights and Zee securing the satellite rights.
The film was initially planned for a Diwali 2025 release, later shifted to January 2026. However, the team never announced an official date. The latest update is that Karuppu is now scheduled to release on 19th March, 2026.
