Karthi’s Khaithi Hindi remake is a disaster at box office

It is very well known to everyone that Tamil Hero Karthi’s Khaithi, which was directed by Lokesh Kanagaraj was a gigantic blockbuster in Tamil and even the Telugu audience also liked the film very much. The film’s success and reach had made Lokesh Kanagaraj to get to the next level as a director.

Khaithi has been remade in Hindi by Ajay Devgn as Bholaa and the movie released on last Friday, i.e. on March 30th. Ajay Devgn not only acted in the main role, but he also directed the film. Ajay made the film by making several changes to suit the Hindi audience taste, but the movie has failed to bring the audience to the theaters despite decent reviews.

Coming to the box office performance, Bholaa has collected a mere 43 Crores net in India for 5 days, and it is heading towards a colossal disaster. The Bollywood Trade Circles expected the film to score big because Ajay Devgn’s previous film, Drishyam 2, was a massive blockbuster, but their hopes did not come true.

Bholaa is the fourth directorial venture of Ajay Devgn after You, Me Aur Hum, Shivay and Runway34. The film also sees Ajay reuniting with Tabu after Drishyam 2 The film also stars Deepak Dobriyal, Sanjay Mishra, Amala Paul and Vineet Kumar, among others.
