Even as Kanguva is getting ready for release in the next month, Suriya has surprised many by wrapping up his next film with Karthik Subbaraj. Now the Kollywood star has two projects in the pipeline all set for immediate release and this has filled fans with excitement. The post-production work for the Karthik Subbaraj project is in progress.
Suriya’s look from the movie was released recently and it managed to create quite some buzz. Everyone believed that Suriya would be playing the role of a gangster in this film. Karthik Subbaraj, however, brought an end to these rumours and clarified that this is not a gangster film.
The director said that the core plot of the film is a beautiful love story with a lot of action but it’s 100% not a gangster film. This statement from the director has disappointed the fans who were eagerly waiting for a full-length gangster drama from Suriya.
On the other hand, it’s a good idea to reveal the genre of the movie as the fans will know exactly what to expect from the film. Pooja Hegde is playing the lead role opposite Suriya and the film is slated to release in Summer 2025.
