The action thriller raked in a humongous Rs 8.40 crores on Sunday. This has now taken the weekend collection to Rs 25+ crores. What’s impressive here is that these numbers have been achieved with the government-mandated 50% theatre occupancy. The story follows the story of a village youth who fights for the rights of the marginalized sections of society. Mari Selvaraj has directed this action thriller. He earlier directed made the critically acclaimed Pariyerum Perumal. Kalaipuli S Thanu under V Creations banner has bankrolled the movie. Dhanush’s performance has been well appreciated by all with many comparing it with his performance in Asuran.
