Kapil Sharma, noted TV Comedian and host of popular show The Kapil Sharma Show has slammed the rumours of speculated racist remarks against Director Atlee. The Director alongwith the cast of his upcoming co-produced film, Baby John attended the show as part of the promotional activities. Kapil Sharma and Atlee had a comic exchange of words which has been projected as an insult to the Director on social media platforms.
Kapil Sharma asked Atlee of how celebrities would react if he met them. He also continued asking if they would ask where Atlee is taking a jibe at his skin colour. But Atlee responded to this quickly opining that appearance is not important when you are good at heart. This conversation has been linked to racism and hatred against the Director which Kapil Sharma has denied now.
Many netizens shared the video opining that Kapil Sharma has insulted the Director for his looks. Now, Kapil Sharma has reacted strongly questioning netizens of how he had insulted the director based on his looks where he felt there was nothing wrong happened. He appealed people not to spread rumours on social media platforms this way. The Comedian also requested people not to blindly believe in speculated rumours.
